This is the central place to easily set your Facebook Application ID number and Facebook User ID number for moderation purposes.

These Settings apply to all shortcodes and widgets across your wordpress website.

The Facebook Application number isn’t mandatory but your comments “viralness” will be greatly boosted if you have one. If you don’t know how to create a facebook application, get in touch with us via support ticket. The Facebook User ID number is mandatory if you want to moderate facebook comments.

Facebook Comments Master Individual Shortcode

Facebook Comments Master version 4.3 and up uses TechGasp v3 framework. The Indivdual Shortcode is easy to use and can be found when you edit a post or a page under the wordpress text editor.  The Individual shortcode allows you to have different, unique shortcodes in each page or post. Once you have created your shortcode, Just insert the shortcode anywhere inside your text. techgasp-facebook-comments-master-backend-edit techgasp-facebook-comments-master-backend-shortcodeIf not open, click the tab to open the Facebook Comments Master Shortcode box. You can drag and drop the tab into any other bottom or sidebar position.

All settings are the same as the widget settings with 2 new options;

Align Facebook Comments Master:

Allows you to align and wrap the text around the shortcode. The options are, left, right or just leave blank.

Shortcode Preview:

if on. Allows you to preview the shortcode that is going to appear on your website frontend. Each time you enable / disable the preview or change a shortcode setting, you need to update / save the Draft, Page or Post to apply the settings and refresh the preview.

Facebook Comments Master Universal Shortcode

techgasp-facebook-comments-master-plugin-menu

The display options are very much like the Individual Shortcode but instead of unique shortcodes per page, the Universal Shortcode allows to have the same shortcode across several or all pages and posts. The shortcode can be found under the plugin Menu Shortcodes. Using the Universal Shortcode you can with a single click apply the facebook comments boxes to all your pages and posts.

But that’s not enough for TechGasp, we added 3 more fast deploying options:

Option to automatically display the facebook comments box in posts only (some user use pages just for menus)

Option to automatically select the page or post location where the box is inserted, after the title or and the end of the page or posts

Option to automatically Replace WordPress Native Comments with facebook comments. Awesome!!!, The beauty of Replace WordPress Native Comments is that the plugin will use your theme default location and styling to display facebook comments in a more beautiful and integrated way. This system wide setting will automatically display facebook comments on all your pages and posts. If you have menu pages or posts that you do not want to display facebook comments but still have the setting ON for the rest of your wordpress posts and pages, then you can override it by unchecking Allow Comments in the desired pages or posts

If the universal shortcode automatic deployment does not suit you, you can turn it off and use it individually by adding [facebook -comments-master-un] to any page or post. So… what’s the difference between Universal and Individual shortcode… well the individual shortcode gives you liberty to customize the facebook comments box per page or post (example, in 1 post you can display 10 comments in a black colour scheme, in another post you can display 50 comments, white colour scheme). The Universal shortcode is only built once and used automatically or individually, but it always uses the same settings.
